As the beach volleyballers sweat it out during a training session at Beijing’s Chaoyang Park Beach, the speakers suddenly start blaring out “Mambo No. 5″ and 12 dancers saunter on to the sand, smiles fixed, shoulders shaking to the beat. China’s cheerleading squads for the Beijing Games have been training up to eight hours a day — and they promise to dazzle crowds with flips, nunchucks, red flags and folding fans.
