Miss Resaca Beach Contest Gets a Little Wild; Judge Arrested

This is lovely Jeannette Bourke, who won the 2008 Miss Resaca Beach Calendar Girl contest in Dalton, Ga., on Saturday. You can see more of Jeannette here, and find out more about the contest at its MySpace page, its Web site and from this news report.

Unfortunately, Jeannette wasn’t the big story at this year’s contest. That dishonor goes to one of the contest’s judges, a former high-powered Atlanta CEO who got in trouble for putting his hands where they didn’t belong. As the local paper reported:

The former CEO of a major Atlanta business faces eight counts of sexual battery for allegedly groping six women during a pool party at a private residence in Dalton and making unwanted sexual advances to two others on Saturday.

Randy Pike, 49, is accused of trying to pull off the bathing suit bottoms of six women at the pool party … Pike allegedly touched one woman’s thigh at an area hotel and offered to let the woman stay in his room. Another woman claimed Pike “hugged her in a sexual manner” from behind.

“I felt like he thought I was a piece of meat,” said one of the women… “He thought just because he had a lot of money he could do that,” she said.

Not this time, dude. Congrats, Jeannette!
